To view the Collection screen, click on the Collection tab from anywhere in the Magic Online game. |
The card display area shows individual cards at a larger size.
The card search filter helps you find specific cards in your collection. See Collection and Trade Card Search Filters for information.
There is also a row of buttons along the bottom
of the screen.
You can view your cards either in a table (text) or in a binder (graphics). The button in the upper right corner of the Collection screen switches between views. The collection area must be in binder view if you want to make cards available for trading.
Table
The table layout shows each of your cards on a separate line with different
information in each column. By clicking on a column heading you can sort
your collection in ascending or descending order by the information in
that column. For instance, if you click on the name column, you can sort
your entire collection alphabetically by card name.
You can make columns wider or thinner by clicking and dragging the line on the left of that column. You can also use the bottom scroll bar to see information in columns that don't fit on the screen.
To see what a card looks like, click anywhere in that card's row. The card will appear in the card display in the bottom left corner of the screen.
Binder
The binder view lets you see your cards as they look in a game. To
page through your collection, click the yellow buttons on the upper right
and upper left corners of the collection area.
The binder view has tabs down the right and left side. If you're looking at more than one set, these tabs have the names of the sets you're looking at. If you're looking at only one set, the tabs are marked with either colors or rarities, depending on how you've sorted your cards in the card search filter. Click on a tab to go to that section of your collection.
There are three numbers under each card:
The number beside Online is how many copies of this ecard you
own.
The number beside Trade is how many copies of this ecard you're
willing to trade.
The number beside Physical is how many physical copies of this
card you own.
The Magic Online game automatically tracks your ecard collection. Whenever you buy new cards or trade cards with another player, the number of ecards you own will change accordingly. See Trading Cards for more information.
If you want to keep track of physical cards in your collection, you
can use the arrow buttons next to the Physical label to adjust the
number of that card you own.
